Breast reduction
Appropriate in cases of breast hypertrophy or gigantomastia, in which excessive breast volume and weight cause discomfort, pain in the spine and neck, marks on the use of a bra, and other limitations in the activity of daily and social life.
Performed under general anaesthesia, it consists of a reduction and remodelling of the mammary gland with proper repositioning, providing both functional and aesthetic improvement, with greater freedom and self-confidence.
The location and extent of the scars varies with the amount of skin and breast removed, but it usually involves a circumvertical peri-areolar scar and an inferior one, more hidden in the infra mammary fold. The postoperative period is very well tolerated, with 1-2 days of hospitalization, and recovery occurs in 12-14 days, without the need for suture removal, since they are absorbable and intradermal.

Indicada em casos de hipertrofia mamária ou gigantomastia, em que o volume e peso mamários excessivos causam desconforto, dores na coluna e pescoço, marcas no uso do soutien e outras limitações na atividade da vida diária e social.
Realizada sob anestesia geral, consiste numa redução e remodelação da glândula mamária com reposicionamento adequado, proporcionando simultaneamente uma melhoria funcional e estética, com maior liberdade e autoconfiança.
A localização e extensão das cicatrizes varia com a quantidade de pele e mama removidas, mas envolve habitualmente uma cicatriz peri areolar circunvertical e uma inferior, mais escondida no sulco infra mamário. O pós-operatório é muito bem tolerado, com 1-2 dias de internamento, e a recuperação ocorre em 12-14 dias, sem necessidade de remoção de suturas, uma vez que são reabsorvíveis e intradérmicas.
